Need help identifying a floor jack
« on: August 21, 2011, 05:16:29 PM »
Does anyone recognize this floor jack. I think it is an old hein werner by the base color and the location of the old faded tag and the geared handle release mechanism but not sure.
I need to find out the model so I can try and find some replacement seals. I can find no stampins anywhere on the jack or the bottle.

Thanks
BobB

If Hiball doesn't post on this forum, you can find him on The Garage Gazette. Jacks are his specialty as it's part of his job. Definately the "go to guy" for that.

Is your handle two piece?
Are the fasteners metric?

It appears to be a typical run of the mill China sourced floor jack. Tons were painted in the HW orange colors. The welded pump body stops and the C shaped piston actuator (not visible) were my indicators.

Almost all parts are available at any good hydraulic shop (seals, washers, packings, etc).
