Hello all.  I am not a tool collector, but I do love vintage woodworking hand tools. For me there is a lot of satisfaction in owning and using tools that still function well after the passage of many years. I greatly admire the patina that well cared for old tools  acquire - wood and metal surfaces that have grown lovely through long time handling and use. I also have great fondness for the wonderful tool manufacturer's catalogs and advertisements of yesteryear.

Welcome from the Illinois
And I'm proud to be an American,
where at least I know I'm free.
And I won't forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.
