The Village Blacksmith - Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

I memorized this poem in school and enjoy hearing it recited.
ENJOY!

I remember hearing it recited, and sure wish we had Chestnut trees today.   The one thing I recall memorizing was the Gettysburg address, which was on a bronze tablet, 4 foot high in the school hallway.
