Bead Breaker?
« on: June 12, 2014, 08:34:39 PM »
Is this an old tire bead breaker?  That was the deduction I came up with while waiting for it to come up for bidding at an auction.  Any info would be appreciated.

In the top photo, is the right end of the left "part-circular-jaw" broken off, or does that look original?

Nothing broke off.  there is about a 2" flange on the ends.

Bear, do you live around Kamaih?  Nice country.  I spent 15 years up on the Palouse.

Would this be for back in the Model T Ford era of skinny tires?   If I recall Marquette did make some battery chargers and gas station equipment.
