I haven't posted much because I haven't found much and very little of it vintage. This weekend was a good deal for me.
So first up I finally found a deal on a GOOD “small” MIG welder. The century I bought 2 months ago I didn’t enjoy using it. I gave $400 for a 240V 180 amp Lincoln with a 40CF argon/CO2 bottle pretty full. It has all the original manuals, some extras, and very little use and around here I got a real good deal @ $400.

I had bought some factory 18” alloys for the Wife’s Saturn last year and they had a good 2 seasons worth of tread left. Unfortunately one of the tires developed a bubble in tread last September. We ended up throwing the winter tires on early because we were tapped at the time.
I recently put the summer tires on my car and looked for a used tire for hers to no avail. I ended up ordering 4 new tires from walmart and was going to mount them myself. The very next day I found a god set of two tires with 75% tread for $50. We took the new tires back.

Today we stopped at a estate sale. It was half off day I picked up a lot of free paint along with this box of abrasives for $2.

And this vintage arc rod oven for $5.

Yesterday I went to a flea market and found a body hammer head for $5 but the deal turned out to be this innocuous orange box for $40

What do you think was in the box?

I think you can call the cops because I stole it at that price.
