It appears to be just like this Olympian but the Olympian has its logo on it. http://www.rakuten.com/prod/olympia-tool-bench-vise-6-inches/227240394.html?listingId=209441246&scid=pla_google_Wayfair&adid=18172&gclid=CKzR_p-63b0CFcg7MgodRzkAaQ
I used to have a milwakee Equipment Company vise that looked very similar and was marked V14 I believe. But it was painted red. It had the numbers casted on it too, but only identified itself as Milwaukee Equipment by a sticker. That appeared to be a Taiwanese vise though while yours says made in USA clearly.

Just a weathered light rust/WD40 mix patina.

Thanks Rusty, that explains the two different numbers (V's).

In the back of my head I was thinking Craftsman, I guess a cheaper model.

Off topic, but heehee, I got a kick out this picture from that catalog Rusty linked to:

Dual crank-operated boat motors, and a pedal-powered snag grinder! Man I'm glad I live in the age of gasoline and electricity.

My friends call me Bob. My wife calls me a lot worse.

Nice little vise, looks similar to a Trenton I have.  The pedal grinder, they don't work too bad, have that model.  Are a little nice to use than the hand crank ones, at least you can use both hands.
