I found this piece very interesting, ive never saw one like it.

I am not affiliated and will not be buying it but just wanted to know if anyone had info on pieces like this

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vtg-Universal-no-101-MACHINIST-VISE-grip-bench-metalworking-clamp-USA-welding-/231145539225?pt=BI_Tool_Work_Holding&hash=item35d1590699

And I'm proud to be an American,
where at least I know I'm free.
And I won't forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.

It's far more likely a lab clamp for holding glassware than a machine tool clamp.
The jaws don't look like more than 16 ga stamped sheetmetal.
Timing has a lot to do with the outcome of a rain dance!

Yeah, too light-duty for machinist work. But pretty neat just the same!
My friends call me Bob. My wife calls me a lot worse.
