Stanley 100 1/2

I have always wanted one of these and the opportunity presented itself this weekend.  Wish it wouldn't have been with a seller that knew what it was, but oh well.  Its only money...

In nice shape, too.  Hope the wallet's not bleeding too badly.

Good catch!   Really nice condition.  Limited use for most people, but when you need one, nothing else will do.

That's a nice plane Jim, and it looks to be in great condition.  There's certainly something about its uniquely shaped sole and the alleged inspiration behind its mass production that makes it attractive to plane collectors and users alike.  I haven't really found a use for mine yet, but one never knows when the perfect opportunity will arise, and it will save the day!
