I am on the lookout for Wards Master Quality sockets and such. I believe they are a later release in the Wards line of tools. I've almost assembled a complete set of the 1/2" drive tools. I believe they were made by Duro/Indestro, based on their design characteristics.

The one in the link looks very similar to the Cornwell "gearless" ratchet designs. Interesting. Ward Master was earlier, and probably was in the same time period as the Cornwell ratchets.

My vintage tool Want list:
Wards Master Quality 1/2" drive sockets (Need size 5/8), long extension, & speeder handle.
-Vlchek WB* series double box wrenches.
-Hinsdale double-box end round shank wrenches.
