Motor Spec Pliers - How new are these?
« on: November 04, 2013, 12:48:07 PM »
Well I did my homework first. They are made by Diamond? I really like Diamond tools. These were in my stepdad's estate. I don't think they are real old, that's why I'm asking how new they are. They are chrome plated. The grip is patterned but doesn't show in this photo. They are in great condition and are destined for my tool roll on the bicycle.
Thanks. Al.

amecks,

They are indeed Diamond.

I have a few of the "motor spec." pliers but do not know the age range of these tools.

I'll be following this thread to see if anybody has the date info.

I have not seen that brand that new.   I have at least one pair of Motor-Spec pliers, 8-9 inches long, regular slip joint.   They look to be nickel plated, and came from a fellas sale, that on the average his tools were from the 1930s.   Heavy they are.
