Heres a wrench evidently used for a specific job. Absolutely no marking. Hoping someone on forum has seen one before because if not I must tell friend that "wrench expert" has failed him again.

I'll guess vacuum modulator on transmission , or a sending unit wrench. If it's automotive at all.

The V notched opening cutout (non parabolic) says pre-war to me (<1940 at least)....

Odd wrench...
Just a weathered light rust/WD40 mix patina.
