>unbranded DOE - 5/8 x 3/4

This looks just like a couple I bought last week.  They say "Controlled Steel" on one side, and "Drop Forged U.S.A." on the other side.  If this one has those marks, it was made by Danielson -- I found it this morning on Alloy Artifacts in their section on Danielson.

Just curious why "shipped to the 48"? Isn't the flat rate the same to anywhere in the US?

I have shipped to Alaska several times using Priority Flat Rate Boxes at regular prices. According to the USPS website (unless rates have just changed) delivery to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam and the U.S. Virgin all cost regular domestic flat box rates.
