Larco Wrench with low patent number
« on: July 11, 2011, 12:37:46 PM »
Hi, I just found a pipe wrench with a very low patent number and don't know where to begin to research it.  The company name forged on it is Larco.  Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.  The patent number is 9-21

Google Patents is the only place I can think to look.
http://www.google.com/patents

Is it possible that 9-21 is September 1921?

Oh.... and welcome to the forum!

Also, you may want to do an advanced search using the date and a generic term like "wrench" in google patents. There are a huge number of misspellings, IMO, due to their scanning process. You may not find "Larco" in a name search.
