DURO PLANER/JOINTER ON LOCA CL
« on: February 17, 2013, 01:56:45 AM »
Here's the link with Photos.     http://waterloo.craigslist.org/tls/3610753938.html      Wasn't aware that Duro made woodworking stuff.  Even if the unit is a bit on the rusty side, the stand legs look like they are quasi-lion's claw style legs.  If anyone is interested, I can go check the thing out one of you is interested, especially if the seller is really interested in the "obo" part.  I gave $20 for my Craftsman 4" jointer last fall, but unsure of the market value of such tools in  NE Iowa.

Neither was I , but they did make a lot of weird things over the years.

Looks like a nice solid machine that will last forever. The micrometer adjustment on the fence angle is way cool compared to my old Delta.

Duro made some pretty decent tools.  I've got one of their 16" bandsaws in storage right now, waiting for time to restore it.  Heavy beast; I had to disassemble it to get it out of the truck.
