I am thinking spark plugs.  Back when, am thinking pre-1920 on this tool, plugs fouled out often, the split tip could be used for bending the electrode, the alligator jaw for removing the plug and you have the feeler gauge right in your hand.  If I ever see one its coming home with me.

Magneto wrench, I'd say, with a cool little alligator end.

What's he want for it? I would buy it, if the price is right. Would look great with my other magneto wrenches of various types. I bid on one like that on ePay some months ago, but didn't go high enough to get it.

I would suppose spark plug gapping also, but, I dunno, never seen one before.

But the coolness factor on it is pushng 9.9 :)
Just a weathered light rust/WD40 mix patina.

How much does your friend want for it? I'm interested in it.

 Hey Aaron
I'm negotiating for it now.  If its more than I can go (it won't take much, I'm way broke) I'll let you know.
I'll have him softened up some if he does want too much for me, of that you can be assured. 8^)

Here's some of my ignition tools I've been collecting up for a while, Scott. I like the oddball ones like that. I have a few strange ones, most are located middle right in the photo.

I just finally got a hold of Tony.  His mail wouldn't go through.
He had the darling Firestone up for sale on ebay, for a week.
Sold it for $12 openers, and had to send it to Australia!

Yikes, we all missed it!

Really liking the ignition stuff Aaron!!  Thanks for sharing.
I am also a small tool freak since forever, you knew. :) heehehehe
