My friend tried to sell some of the tools to other Chevrolet dealers, but they already had them, Chevrolet made all dealers buy all those specialized tools.   They had specialized tools for each year and each model, most for only one function.  Most looked like parts rather than tools. 
Then there was the fact that he was so angry with Chevrolet for not letting him sell the dealership, he just wanted away from it.
