Just wondering if anyone has one kicking around, I picked this up in a lot at an auction but it is missing the blade retainer.

All you need to do to make it workable as a properly threaded screw, and a washer or bit of metal with a hole.  You can probably fabricate the side plate from a fender washer.

I thought your little saw looked somewhat similar and sure enough I dug mine out and it was made by the Ram tool company but is a little different mine has a blue background on the label and it says Chicago Ill and Water Valley Miss. Mine is a model # R-44 and is 7/16 HP. The labelalso says 3.1 amps 120 V 60 HZ A.C. I tried to post some photos but I'm doing something wrong and Ineed my daughters help. I will try the photos again later.

Forgot to mention that my blade retaining screw appears to be home made, it looks lika a 5/16 nut drilled and filed out to fit over the blade holder it has a small hole drilled and tapped to suit a small machine screw which holds the blade tight into the U shaped holder. I really need to figure out the how to post pics
