Not a tool as such but could be from a tool. More likely a machine of some kind. It is an adjusting bolt. May have had a spring hooked on the bent end or been through a part. By tightening or loosening the nut spring tension or part position could be adjusted.

I suspect it held and/or adjusted the deck of a rider mower.

I have no sense of the scale of the object so I'm just guessing.  But it looks like a spoke from a wheel.

Curious what other folks think.

I agree with lauver it sure like a wheel spoke.
All my taste is in my tools.
