Another Mystery Logo; B inside a shield Springfield
« on: February 07, 2012, 01:31:26 PM »
I have a gear puller with a B inside a pentagon or shield, and also marked Springfield (could be one of several states).

Has anyone seen this one before?

Thanks,

John

Shure looks like a Bonney logo. It could be something forged by Bonney for a company in Springfield, USA?

There has been speculation in the past that Moore drop forge, in Springfield may have made some things for Bonney...

They are steel.  The bronze look is just the weathered light rust/WD40 mix patina.

My first thought was Bonney, but the Springfield through me off.
