give me ideas.

its getting colder so theres not alot of farm equipment  breaking down right now  which means no work for me = no money.   so i want to get back into woodworking i got into it when i was about 16 and stopped at 18 cause life got busy.  heres what i have for tools

crosscutsaw
craftsman bandsaw
craftsman scrollsaw
craftsman circular saw
various auger bits+braces
planes (tho im not sure how to properly use them)
 power sanders orbital,vibratory,belt, 3D sander
i want some ideas for simple things i can make to sell for a reasonable price.    cut out bears and  hearts before and driledl holes in the butt end  and inserted  dowel rod before to make those thing girls tend to stick in there potted plants to decorate them up.

so any help or ideas you guys  could give me would be apreciated and of course ill post picks of anywork i do.

Bird houses, bird feeders, dog houses, wishing wells, yard ornaments, planters whirly gigs,and weather vanes all sell fairly well here. Not big money though. The trick is to visit some constructions sites or small sawmills and get a free supply of offcuts or even slab for some of it. Rustic sells better, takes 1/4 the time and brings at least 1/2 the price of quality.

I have a signcrafter pro by turnlock and its great. I have made at least 600 bucks making and painting signs just for a hour or two a day after school for about a month ah half. i do have a router forgot to mention it. its a 1hp black and decker plunge router and a black and decker router table with 1hp motor ( forgot i had them since there in the basement and not in garage)  ill look into that thanks :) any ideas are great

thanks neil those gave me some ideas. never seen the things for above the door before.  where do you get your templates ? i used to borrow pattern books from the library and copy the patterns onto a new piece of paper and then rubber cement it to the plank i was working with then al i have to do was wait for the cement to dry and peel it off and sand. after i made the cuts of course.

Right now I have a cold so I'm taking it easy today.
I'm supposed to go to the Doctors to start a medical treatment tomarow, that will make me
sick. It doesn't make much sense to be sick with a cold and go to the doctors only to be
made sicker.

You might look around for old chest of drawers to rebuild.
There are a lot of magazines with patterns for cutouts in them.
There is a company called "Windfield Collection" that has a lot of patterns.
for "The Bend Overs", wirllygiggs, silhouettes, rideable cars and trucks.

They were my grandpas templates. No idea were he got them. If you would like I can send a copy of them.

With the tools you've got, you could easily knock out some nice rustic keepsake boxes. The link below isn't my work, but I've made stuff using the same ideas. Just thought it'd be quicker to send you this than try and dig out some photos. Hope using third party stuff is ok, I'm not taking credit for it...

You can do a lot of nifty stuff with that scroll saw. Just search for patterns and you'll have more projects than you can handle.
