This yearly event is must-see, if not for the flea market or the hundreds of old tractors, then for the people watching and crazy motorized contraptions people use to get around the grounds. I should have spent more time looking around but after perusing the flea, I was sorta worn out. And the small bag of tools I had picked up was getting heavier by the minute. Oh, I spent $24 and had 25 items.
Only $1500 for this '67 Triumph 650 - original "period custom". I had one of those custom seats on my Bonneville back in the 70's - I wish I had kept the seat, but at least I still have the bike.

Westcraft pliers - Western Auto, Stanley 1299 knife, Champion gauge; next row - Wm. Hjorth & Co. pliers 1903 patent, McKaig-Hatch 8" pliers; next row - Carll adjustable/reversible wrench/pipe wrench 1913 patent, McKaig- Hatch "tool kit" pliers with screwdriver blade handle: next row - Lufkin gages, Proto driver and Sargent wire cutters.

6 Williams Superrenches, left side - wrench with round mark and number 13 - anyone know what this is?, wrench with triangular mark and hard to read numbers , maybe 864-043 what is this?, lock ring tool stamped "1rn6ATas", small McKaig-Hatch, Davis & Furber Machine Co. 76M, tiny Blue Point 3/8 x 7/16; next row - below the Superrenches - Plomb 3/8 and 5/8 in same style and a 7/8 Plomb Pebble.

After clean up - the rusty Sargent wire cutter freed up and has only the slightest wear.
The Hjorth pliers were able to be disassembled and cleaned - these things are weird, I don't know what to make of these yet, and there is a removable jaw that possibly could be reversed.
The 8" McKaig plier is going in my tool box to replace a more worn 8" plier. They cleaned up well and the chrome is near perfect.
I like that the Hjorth pliers and the Carll wrench were not used much as a hammer! Sometimes, heavy tools, well, you know!
