For those not members of the Missouri Valley Wrench Club, here is a teaser -- join the club, get the newsletter, and see if anyone has more info to offer (I could not identify a patent, but it was common practice back then to claim a patent once an application was filed, even if that application was later denied.)  For purposes of this post I cut off a lot of verbiage -- it filled a half page in the catalog.

Not a valid patent date, sill an interesting design that would be nice to find.
