Brown and Sharpe #541 Machinist's Square with wooden stand.  This has a 36" blade and a 19-1/2" beam. Right now it is covered in what I believe to be cosmolene, not sure yet if I want to remove it!! Will post more pics when I take it out of the stand again!!

Thanks guys!! I had to make a quick decision, there was another buyer leering at the square over my shoulder. The vendor wasn't sure what he had, too dark (5:30 AM) to read any markings on the steel!! The blade is bolted to the beam, that caused a moment of hesitation on my part. But then I looked at the fit from the square to the wood stand, and I handed over the cash!!!
