Taking apart a Millers Falls 188A push drill

Does anyone know how this can be disassembled?  It looks like there's two brass pins near the collet.  I suspected pushing on these would release the brass spiral drive piece, but I can't seem to get it to release.

Here's the drill with 7 of its 8 bits that store in the handle.  The other screwdrivers are a Snappy "500" Limited Edition, a Vaco K-46 screwholder, Klein 650 awl, and lowly Taiwan 1/4 driver.  Picked these up at a yard sale near home.

Also the Mossberg No. 350 ratchet with one socket

And this Duro set - the ratchet is shot, but the 6 point sockets are 5/16 thru 1-1/4, 22 pieces - possibly complete?  Box outside is rusty, no paint, - hope to resell these or trade for something more practical.

I've taken alot of tools apart but never a push drill - of any make. So, haven't got a clue. But I'd suspect it's not too hidden
a method, as those older tools were made to last a lifetime and would require maintenance.

And that Duro set is outstanding! Love the two lengths of speed handles.

Hello, Al. Nice score on the tools!! What is happening with the drill? Are you having trouble inserting a bit? The Millers Falls chucks work by rotating the collar, unlike a North Bros., which moves in & out. If the movin barrel is stuck, it may just need a litle penetrating oil. Good luck, Lou

Hi Lou.  It just needs cleaning and lubrication.  The collet works fine, its the handle parts that need attention.  So maybe I'll leave the front part alone and just use some spray oil on it.

How can that ratchet be shot?  Isn't it based on the old Hinsdale patent?  It never had a spring.

The wheel teeth are totally beaten and buggered and I'm sure the opposing tooth/teeth are likewise.  It's a shame because its not really too rusty.
