LOTS of antique wrenches
« on: November 18, 2017, 02:32:47 PM »
Hi. I am the widow of Bob Wickes (wrenchmensch) a noted collector of antique wrenches who died 4/20/2016. He loved this site. I miss him, and I am sure some of the members here do, too. A lot of his collection went to Martin Donnelly, but there are many Rubbermaid tubs filled with antique wrenches still here, and I would like to find the wrenches new owners who know what these implements are and appreciate them. Any ideas? I do not want to spend vast amounts of time on this. Would this site be a place to sell them perhaps? It would seem to be the targeted audience I want. Anyhow, I am in the greater Philadelphia area if there are nearby collectors.

Welcome !
We do miss Bob and his wrenches.
If you wish, you may certainly sell them here, or on Ebay if you have the time to photograph them and give a good description.
There are also several Facebook pages where wrenches may be sold.

MissyW, I first met Bob at the Mercer Museum when he had a wrench display and we talked wrenches. I am in Northern Bucks County, when the weather warms up a little I could look at the wrenches and give you a little guidance on what or how to sell them. You can message me on hear to start with.
