Last summer I fixed my neighbor's lawnmower. when it quit they left it sitting out in the weather. so when it was repaired I suggested I clear a space in their garage for it. In the process I acquired a bunch stuff that was detailed in a post back in June. One of those items was a working bench grinder.

It is nothing special. Probably from Home Depot as that is where my neighbor worked. I recently made some parts, ignition coil brackets, for my motorcycle "Project 39-1/2". The brackets are aluminum and they were saw cut and belt sanded into shape, and they were cut from used aluminum. I was thinking of how to clean them up when I realized I had this grinder and also had some polishing wheels.
Anyway, this is what I ended up with. It's been cleaned and rubbed with linseed oil. It will clamp into a vise so it can be put away until needed.

These are the brackets - one is partially polished, the other is as it came from the saw and sander.
