Popular Mechanics trick ratchet
« on: November 19, 2011, 11:14:33 AM »
Here's one I hadn't seen before and it was just a couple of bucks so now it's mine. The picture isn't the one I have because it is below zero in the garage today and I haven't ventured out yet.

I have one of those bought at Wallyworld for me by my BIL. At first I thought is was just a gimmick tool, but I use it often to "run" a fastener down to hand tight. I have found the length to be an advantage in some situations. The ratchet works well, and I use it for more jobs than I used to.

I have one of those also. I got mine after somebody on some website was talking about them. I have seen the same tool with many different names on them. Mine is marked SKILLCRAFT. They were talking about thease tools on GJ the other day. I got mine to loosen and tighten radiator fan bolts.
