, там жил старый лисовин, но тот всегда убегал...Иду на рыбалку-посреди лимана утка...Старичок кидается в воду и к утке..Она уплывает, он еле живой догребает до берега, отлежится и по-новой...Охотник...

This is what I got; I believe I need a new translator.

there lived an old lisovin, but he always escaped. Go fishing-in the middle of the estuary duck ... The old man is thrown into the water and to duck ... She swims, he barely live dogrebaet to the shore, and will rest in bed on-new ... Hunter ...

I think your translator is alright. I'll check with my son in law, he speaks & writes Russian.

A lot of Russian to English translation ends up looking like this.  It seems that a human translator is required often, very often, or you end up no wiser than before.  I'm currently waiting for the new edition (with a new translation!) of Woodworking in Estonia.  I paid a fairly hefty price for the old translation, but spent a lot of time cursing the translator for being a dunce.  Russian and English just don't seem to translate into each other without a lot of work and reworking.
