Stood in the freezing cold for 5 hours for a few pair of pliers today.
Temps in the mid 20's and windy as hell and this is my best purchase.
Saw a 4" Scholler adjustable in a box on a wagon that was at least 3 hours from being bid on but didn't wait, I wussed out  :grin:

 My sympathy. If I had been outside at auction today I would have bought a lot less but I was inside an spent a little over 4 hours.

Those look like glass breaking pliers.  First time I've seen the Red Devil version.

I have the same pliers. My wife's uncle use to own Union Ave Glass in Portland Oregon. When my wife's uncle passed away 33 years ago i was given his tools by his sister my mother in-law. I have never used them, but since they were from family-----

When I am making glass I use mine all the time. When I sm not making glass I never use them.

One if those tools that don't cross over into other work.

By the way, they are commonly called "running pliers."  The othernpliers I use for making glass are "grozing pliers."
