I found this today on a pick...It says Nov 54 on the bottom in black print...Could it be that old? I had to have it when I saw it. It will work great to fill up the hog with oil:)
Always looking for unusual Herbrand and JC PENNEY tools and or toolboxes..

According to a seller on Worthpoint it might be 192
Quote1 quart oil can was made by The Huffman MFG. Co. out of Dayton, OH. This company later became Huffy MFG. and made Huffy brand bicycles and other sporting goods. The patents on the can date it to between 1928 and 1934. This piece was used mainly by service stations for oil changes. This can has a unique feature in that t is a lever just above the handle that opens a sealed hole at the bottom of the can to allow the oil to flow into the spout when depressed. Its uniqueness comes in the fact that when the spout is locked into place, the lever will not operate, so the hole at the bottom will remain sealed.

Similar answer to the one you got on Garage Journal.
The one on Worthpoint and other places has a curved spout.
