Plomb Wrench
« on: October 27, 2014, 12:02:28 PM »
I was recently given this 8" long Plomb 3/8" pull handle by my brother.  I was just wondering when it may have been manufactured.  Any ideas, folks?

That flex handle / breaker bar would have been made between 1945 and 1948.The finish is called the pebble finish and is what makes it easy to date.

I think those pebble finish plombs are some of the nicest looking.
Always looking for what interests me, anything early Dodge Brothers/Graham Brothers trucks ( pre 1932 or so ) and slant six / Super six parts.

I've been collecting them and all their wf cousins for some time now. I learned of their existence here at Papaws Wrench.  They are well made and very good looking to boot.
