The first item is, I am reasonably certain, a sickle bar holder for a hand crank grinder. It attached to the front of the grinder frame, which was clamped onto the wheel of the horse drawn mower. The sickle was 5 foot long, and when dull did not cut well. This device made it so the machine did not have to be returned to the shed for sharpening. Think farm use, for mowing hay. Interesting assortment.
