Padre Wrenches from Germany??
« on: August 13, 2011, 05:38:41 AM »
Found this one in a pawn shop hopper.  Really well made and if the prices for their driver bit kit($94 on one on line vendor!!) is any indication, these must be on par with Stahlville and Hazet, if not better.  Can't find much info on them.  Thanks for any feedback you can give.

They are good solid german tools, I dunno if I would try to rate german tool companies relative to each other, I can't say I have ever seen a crappy german wrench ; P

They make interesting ratchets also....

Haven't seen any of those around here, though I do see the occasional German odds and ends. Quick search turned up the drivers you mentioned, with the name Padre Tirem,  not much else.

What I found was less than a complete set and also one DBE in maybe a 7x9.  I'm not sure there's even any on ebay.  I may keep these since they're so  "unique" in both finish and feel.

It is on sale, it was $114

Sam is not cheap, but Sam has lots of kool stuff that is really hard to find otherwise, and the pictures are fun to look at, so I'll give a freebie :http://www.samstagsales.com/
