Pilgrim Sewing Machine is still in business, and may still print a paper catalog.

Quite decent people to do business with.
You can still get parts for sole stitchers.

Landis still supports their old shoe making machinery as well.

MEMO: Never buy a Landis line shaft machine and a Landis sole machine at an auction where you have to remove them from the basement of a small city house, not even if you have NOLA to do the carrying.

The same applies to pretty lathe's in basements :P
Just a weathered light rust/WD40 mix patina.

I'll move 2 lathes easy & throw in a Bridgeport & a tool grinder before I get near another Landis machine.
Landis is fine machinery, good heavy castings, but I despise with a passion disassembling the miserable wax & baked on oil coated sumnuvabeaches to get them out the door.

Our landis machines are threaders. Too big to even try to move by hand. I think they were all made in WW II.
