Hey Kids!
« on: April 15, 2014, 12:39:40 PM »
New here. Name's Jim, but go by surveypunk as I was the youngest on the crew when I surveyed in a big open pit mine some years ago. Semi retired (retarded?) now but still get my licks in now and again.
Interested in all kinds of old tools. Especially from the colonial era and also railroad tools and, of course, vintage surveying stuff.
Enjoying the site so far. Particularly the "what is it" stuff.

Regards to All,
JB

Welcome from Illinois :)
And I'm proud to be an American,
where at least I know I'm free.
And I won't forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.
