Wrenches Donated to Museum

Alvin, Texas was established in the 1870's and incorporated in 1893 when the Gulf Colorado and Santa Fe RR came through. Santa Fe RR eventually bought them out and as Burlington Northern still run through here.
Our local museum is setting up some displays pertaining to the railroad and I have donated some wrenches and other RR collectibles.
Here is an all steel monkey wrench marked ATS&F, and an alligator wrench marked Santa Fe.

Very generous of you Papaw, those look like a couple of nice pieces. Did the railroad company sell wrenches too, or were they part of a standard tool kit, or...?

I think different RRs may have contracted with makers to mark tools sold to them, but more likely all the tools came through a central distribution point and were marked there.
I have seen many different markings for the same RR, but usually they are standard letter and number stamps.
