Stanley Tool man, sign -- Anyone have access to the Stanley Guide book?

My grandparents worked for The Stanley Works in New Britain, CT after WWII and had the following Stanley Tools sign in their garage (now proudly hanging up in mine).  Looking for information on the item that would likely be in John Walter's book, "Antique & Collectible STANLEY TOOLS Guide to Identity and Value" that is not in any library near me.  The museum in New Britain CT said it may be from the 1930s, but not sure on the age. 

It's pressboard material, handpainted.  Yellow shirt, white coveralls.  Here is a picture of it and a link to a higher resolution image.

The Walter guide has a "Happy Carpenter" sign, but the description sounds a bit different. The description is "Large happy carpenter holding sign, "Good Tools Sold Here", 24 inches tall, c.1940.
