Tools- My other set of Auto Kit wrenches
« on: May 04, 2011, 11:00:28 PM »
Some may remember that I scored a pristine set of Auto Kit wrenches recently, so I want to show you my other set. It doesn't have the correct pin and nut.

I always thought those were a great idea for the time.  The box end being a different size from the open end was sheer brilliance.

Very nice set, love it.
And I'm proud to be an American,
where at least I know I'm free.
And I won't forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.

Only four more wrenches and a proper pin to go, and I'll have my own.

I've started a set of these things, too. Not anywhere near as nice or complete as those shown.

Recentlt there was a complete set of these on e-bay, I was watching it but lost interest when the bidding got above 50 dollars, now I am thinking I should have paid more attention
Always looking for what interests me, anything early Dodge Brothers/Graham Brothers trucks ( pre 1932 or so ) and slant six / Super six parts.

Only worth that much if perfectly pristine, complete with all the correct numbers, and including the original pin and nut.
