Gotta love a plane that's half the width of your pickup truck.

If you are at all interested in wood work, that's an interesting plane to play with....


Just a weathered light rust/WD40 mix patina.

If that 8 isn't broken anywhere, except for a very short blade, it looks complete and not that bad a shape.
 Easy sell when you let this one go.
  The other two are very very common and low value even in mint condition. Probably should have left those two. Especially the broken one. 

 Planes are just like anything else in the collectible world.

Dan,

  Are there patent dates cast in the body of the plane behind the frog?  If there are three dates, this is a type 11, my fav-o-rite!!!  Anyway, great find!
