A couple S wrenches
« on: September 23, 2013, 06:13:26 PM »
Two of my oldest tools. Don't know much about them other then I had to have them when I seen them.

I look on ebay everyone now and then for a really small s wrench, like a 4" one, but have never seen one.

I'm looking for 4" adjustable wrenches.

They did make a 4 in. version but be prepared to write a large check if you find one.  They are not at all common.  I have seen exactly one...and that one is worn around the neck of another wrench guy; and he won't sell it, I've asked...several times.

The B & C  wrench is Bemis  and Call, pretty respectable tools you have, both of them.    Have at least one of them out in the shop, you will also fine them with the name  FORDSON.   You have a good start, so watch for that slippery slope.

Thanks guys!

Been searching the forum in hopes of seeing some photos of 4" adjustable wrench collection, but so far I'm just finding some mixed in here and there with other photos.

Will keep searching, but if anyone knows of some great topics with photos of 4" adjustable wrenches in the forum please feel free to point me in the right direction. :)

Just a weathered light rust/WD40 mix patina.
