Mystery Snap-On 3/4" drive socket
« on: August 20, 2013, 12:27:28 PM »
Here is a Snap-On socket that has "stumped" their online staff.
Check the 4 photos.
It is stamped with the official Snap-On logo "Snap-On 1/2 B3410-16   USA  8

The 8 looks like the 1958 eight on my date codes sheet from Snap-On.

4 photos are attached.
It is 3/4" drive,

Comment: I have a 3\4" drive socket, Snap-On, and is marked: 1/2 B3410-16 USA 8. It has a long slot thru it that is 1/2" wide in it that is 21/2" deep. It also has a 3/4" square hole thru it that is just above the Snap-On numbers and lettering. It weighs almost 2 lbs. It "rings" like a tuning fork when you tap it. I have checked your online catalogs and cannot find it. Please tell me what it is. I cannot find in your online catalog.

HELP in this identification, please
