tool was made by miller tool out of detroit mi numbers on it are 601-1 A-1 what is it  thank you ole

ditto, may need a photo, 3 digit numbers are old.
-1 A-1 tells me it is part of a kit, but no reference on what 601 is...

Miller makes tools for Chrysler corp.   Haven't got access to their special tools list right now.

Detroit Bevel & Divider Co. made a pair of dividers patented by George Miller (November 11, 1873 and December 31, 1874).  I have had a couple of them in the past.  They are an interesting divider with adjustable legs.
