Berylco W152 adjustable wrench

I found this Brylco 6" Beryllium Copper Non Spark adjustable wrench at an estate sale along with a bunch of other stuff. I'd put up a pic but my camera isn't working right now.I'll put up an image of pic I copied. I thought it was pretty cool.

Nice find!!  But as others have mentioned before, and I will again...DO NOT wire brush it or polish it.  The beryllium dust is highly toxic.  We don't want to lose any forum members.

If there isn't maybe there should be one.

Beryllium copper (BeCU)alloy dusts are carcinogenic. Because of this, the material must never be mechanically cleaned, e.g. wire-wheeled, glass beaded, sanded, filed, or ground.

We saw a Berylco grubbing hoe in a display case on Saturday. Both ends had been shined up with sandpaper!

This stuff is now being made in china, if they think they have pollution problems making blue jeans , wait till they figure out what a mess this stuff makes....
