Little fellows
« on: August 23, 2012, 05:38:26 PM »
An auction box yielded these little fellows as well as some of usable size. Don't know what I'd do with them but I can carry them all in one pocket. Little wrenchs are cute but I don't use anything this small. GUess they won't take up much space on the basement wall.

I like those little wrenches as well
Always looking for what interests me, anything early Dodge Brothers/Graham Brothers trucks ( pre 1932 or so ) and slant six / Super six parts.

Oh, a 4117.  I have one of those sitting on my desk right now.  The little wrenches -- aren't these ignition wrenches?

Yes Snap-on lists DS series as being for radio, ignition and carburetor work. These are evidently 1968 vintage. I guess they are useful as I needed the 15/64 size to adjust gap on mag this AM.

Heel, I have 4 ignition wrench sets for sale on the bay, Bonney - Vlchek - Duro-Chrome - Blue Points, that include that size.
Cant say that I ever actually used one myself...
I do have a drawer in my Gerstner tool box for vintage small wrenches, smallest is a BluePoint C1514 7/32 x 15/64. 2 1/2" long.
I like the smalls !!

Picked up a few WILLIAMS SUPERRENCH examples a couple of years ago at a small engine repair shop close-out -- the smallest in that assortment is No. 1112  3/16" and they are all 3" long.

Found these little fellows last weekend.  Must be ignition wrench season.
