I am trying to spring clean the tool boxes a bit, and have the items shown and listed below that I would like to offer for swap or horse trade-whatever you call it.  I do not really want to sell any of this stuff, but prefer to reach gentlemen's agreements to simply exchange one or more articles I have listed for something you have that I desire.    I will later list some types of things I have been looking for or interested in as a guide.  But if you see something you want here, make me an offer of something else you think I should need or have...Just don't offend me with money offers!   Maybe you have something I really need, or think I need?

Note-I will pay the postage for the items I swap to you in exchange for you paying the postage for the items you swap to me.  I prefer that no other money should change hands in any transaction.

List of tools I desire.....This is like my Christmas list.

I like Blackhawk Lock-On sockets from 30's and 40's, especially 84XX series sockets.  Also interested in extensions, ratchets, etc. from same era. Also D-series sockets.
I like vintage bluepoint wrenches, all types.  Especially want oex-120 & oex160 combos with raised fonts on wrench handles.  A Box wrench X-2224 or X-2022 is also cool.   An X-16 or X-24 offset box is much needed.

Need Williams superwrench combos 1167A - 13/16" and 1160 3/8"  later style wrenches from the 60's.

Also Williams 1/2D 12 pt sockets of the following numbers.  ST=1234 3/4"; ST-1234   1 1/16"; ST-1236  1 1/8"

S124 Herbrand 1/2D socket- 3/4" much needed,  Also would like a vintage 1/2 D Herbrand ratchet, like a J10, and any extensions, etc. of this vintage.

That is a start for what I need.   I will keep thinking and posting.

See above posting for some wish list items.   Some others include 3/8 Drive Hinsdale sockets, especially #SJ14 and SJ18, 7/16" and 9?16".   Also am interested in old Husky sockets, extensions, and drive tools.   These are like New Britain and Craftsman stuff from the 30's and 40's. Similar to Circle H and BE, but branded Husky.  Not interested in newer stuff.   Also need snap on short combos, Oex-160 and OEX-240.   1/2" and 3/4"- these can be in serviceable, used condition, I just seem to have lost them from my old set.   Also need one old snapon 3/8D 13/16"  short socket.  Model number F260.   Could use two S-K wrenches, 3/8" and 1/2"-  Prefer the newer style shiny chrome style.   These are just some things I have been looking for.   Maybe you have something interesting you would like to swap?

I have some of these older tools which you are looking for, I think. But it sure is a pain to dig through so many bins of brand-sorted tools. So an accurate reply may take me some time. LOL.

Anyway, on the Herbrand ratchet # J-10 which you mentioned, I have one of those with that number stamped into it. But this one is a 3/8 drive ratchet. Would Herbrand have used that same model number for both 1/2" drive and 3/8" drive?

Rusty and Lump, you are both correct.  I am looking for an S-10, for a 1/2 Drive set of sockets.   I just need a couple sockets to complete a 1/2 set, but have no Herbrand drive tools.  As for how long it takes, Lump.....I am no hurry.   The only hazard would be what you want in my stuff may be gone if someone else deals for it first.   I am busy through the week, and only have time to play with old tools on the weekends, and that is even subject to change from honeydoos.
