Auction in Arkansas
« on: February 15, 2012, 09:23:31 PM »
Stan Schulz alerted me to this auction which will not be included in the SWTCA newsletter because it was not announced early enough.

AUCTION

FIRST FRIDAY & SATURDAY OF EACH MONTH

DATES - MARCH 2nd & 3rd - APRIL 6th & 7th - MAY 4th & 5th - JUNE 1st & 2nd , 2012 STARTING AT 9:00 AM
Quote
Mr. and Mrs. Hosto collected a wide variety of items over many, many years. The array of woodworking tools, farms tools, mechanic tools, railroad tools, cast iron, hatchets/axes, glassware, books etc. is the largest I have ever seen and is simply amazing. There are many buildings full of merchandise and we are still discovering the treasures the Hosto's collected on a daily basis. Will be auctioning a variety of all items on each auction date with many household furnishings being auctioned at the last sale. DO NOT miss the auction as there might not be another one like it in the region.

I see lots of wrenches, etc. in the pictures. You have to sift through the household stuff though.

That would be a good auction to go to. Tons of planes, wrenches, handsaws, toolboxes, a few spokeshaves not to meantion a shear and all the other goodies I saw.

Wish I was closer.
And I'm proud to be an American,
where at least I know I'm free.
And I won't forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.

Please let me know if there is something I can "scout" for anyone.  My wife and I plan to go and I don't mind taking a hit for somebody in search of something....especially if I know I can recover it.
