Free! Delta Tool base

This was under a Rockwell 10" saw and is in good shape. It comes apart and will fit in a flat box or come and get it. I'm just north of Milwaukee.

If Branson bows out, I may have to come get it.  I'm at Ft. Atkinson, about halfway between Madison & Milwaukee - and I have two wood working machines that need bases . . .

Go for it, Ron.  As much as I'd like to have it, I have to use the money for some emergencies that came up.

Ron Darner came and picked up the Delta Tool base yesterday. We thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon with a shop tour and talked about an enormous range of things that we have in common.

You are TOTALLY welcome, John!  [And thank YOU for the base, which started the whole thing]  I had a great time, and have started through some of the literature I got from you; my "swap-meet buddy" will see stuff Sunday - and he did recall the Freeman four-wheel-drive truck, just as I predicted.
Your Porta-Band portable electric bandsaw by Porter-Cable was built under the May 6, 1952 patent by Elmer P. Sacrey, by the way.  See http://www.datamp.org/patents/displayPatent.php?pn=2596081&id=41915 for it.
The early Black & Decker patent I mentioned is 1,245,860, issued Nov. 6, 1917, to S. D. Black & A. G. Decker for an "Electrically Driven Tool" (pistol grip, trigger).  They got another one, closely related, on Apr. 29, 1924: number 1,492,095, and the cord protector was #1,574,020, issued Feb. 23, 1926.  If you have others only by date, let me know; I have compiled a list . . .

Ron, I checked Datamp for the ETTCO chuck.  No luck, it looks like DATAMP hasn't posted it yet. There are some drill chucks by ETTco, but appear to be later designs. Thanks for the info on the Port A Band.  I'll post a pictue soon. Did not think it was that old.
