A new tool - spring looper
« on: August 16, 2024, 09:55:07 PM »
I was tempted to put this one on "what's it" but thought that I'll just come clean with the info. A garage sale find, never had seen a tool to bend loops on the end of extension springs. Now I have on several occasions formed loops on the ends of springs using a couple of long nose plyers. But like is said, there is a tool for every job....no matter how obscure. Meet the "Hook-Kon" spring looping tool by Brillisour & Moline, Inc.  Lyons, Ill.

For $1.00 it had to come home. It comes with two forming tips, for different gage wire and a sample spring to practice on.

I never heard of one before either, but it looks like a quality product. I can see why it came home with you.
