Pratt Goodell, What is it Tool?

Ok, I Give, What is this tools Function? Tool has fine comb like fins on the end 5/8 inch long, overall length is 7 inches. Found at estate sale of old Mechanic past. not letting me preview so i hope pics work

I'm going to say Checkering Tool for a Gunsmith. For detailing the wooden stocks.

That Makes Sense to Me, I Appreciate It!

PS:I Looked for it for a long time, with grove cleaning tool as my key word, but gunsmith checkering never crossed my mind.

Yup, 100% a gun checkering tool (I build and renovate old muzzleloaders so I use them)
I didn't know Goodall & Pratt made one!
