Odd Carrier tool of some sort

Found this odd item the other day.  No markings at all.  Obviously for carrying something or another.  About 10 1/2" long with two swiveling round bands that can be adjusted tighter with wingnuts.  The bands are about 4" across.  Any help with and ID would be appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

The handle for an acetylene cylinder for carbide headlights on a Model T or equivalent auto.  Mounted on the running board.  I'll attach a photo as soon as I go out to the shop this morning.

Went out & took pics, but got busy on a project.  Here they are.  BTW, I'm looking for a replacement gauge.  Don't use it , but things like that bother me.

Long gone I assume?  But replacement gauges on every corner!  I got it for $5.00 at an estate sale about 10 years ago.  Thought it was a propane tank like plumbers used to use.  I have a Prestolite torch set in a metal box & thought it would be neat to use the 2 together.  When I started looking for info, found reference to the carbide headlights.  Even if the gauge was replaced, it would probably need certified before someone would fill it.  It looks good standing under the workbench.  I just enjoy surrounding myself with stuff like this.
